Testimonials

“I can honestly say I love my job, working as a mixed animal vet in Highfield . I rotate between large animal and small animal practice and I feel like I am well supported by vets more experienced, while also being surrounded by a young and vibrant team! We have a very interesting and varied caseload in Highfield that constantly challenges me to research, learn and grow as a clinician! Highfield Veterinary has been the perfect place for me to start my career and as I look ahead to the future, I feel like it will also be a great place for me to progress as a clinician.”

“The role of a veterinary nurse is a quite demanding, high-pressure job, as most already know. Highfield Veterinary Group focus on team building and supporting RVN’s. As a new graduate, everything is a bit daunting. Highfield has a program in place to help nurses transition from college to a full-time RVN. The structural company has a number of different support systems to help nurses with different aspects of the job. Both the practice manager and head nurse are always available, day or night with any issue, whether it’s work-related or person/family. Highfield is extremely pro nurse and encourages nurses to use the skills learned in college and to get involved. Hard work never goes unrecognised. Highfield has company CPD events monthly to link the whole company together and to learn about topical aspect which are observed regularly in the clinics. Highfield Veterinary Group support each other, work hard and have a bit of a laugh at the same time. There is a great sense of community between the teams and the public.”
